
Installing launching wheels on your tender makes handling it much easier. Based on the 3D Tender video tutorial, here is a step-by-step guide to completing this installation cleanly and safely.

Before you begin, gather the following tools:
A marker
Masking tape
An open-end wrench / spanner (for the nuts)
An Allen key (hex key)
A caulking gun (with marine silicone sealant)
A power drill
Protect the work area: Start by applying strips of masking tape to the boat's transom where the wheels will be mounted. This prevents you from marking directly on the hull.
Mark the drilling points: Position the wheel bracket against the transom to simulate the final installation. Using the marker, dot the four future mounting holes. Tip: Deploy the wheels to give yourself more room and make marking easier.

Drill the transom: Grab your drill and drill through the marks. Be sure to double-check where the drill bit will exit inside the boat to avoid any unpleasant surprises or collateral damage.

Deburr the holes: Once drilling is complete, deburr both the inside and outside of the holes. This leaves a cleaner finish and prevents any risk of cuts.
Prepare the bracket: Place rubber washers on the screws at the back of the aluminum bracket to ensure it sits perfectly parallel to the transom.

Ensure watertightness: Using the caulking gun, apply a layer of silicone sealant around each hole on the transom. This is a crucial step to keep your boat perfectly watertight.

Secure the assembly: Insert the wheel bracket through the holes in the transom. Move to the inside of the boat to place the nuts, then tighten everything securely using your Allen key and wrench simultaneously.
The installation is complete, and your tender is ready to hit the water!
